There are many opportunities to volunteer with the Hunter Mill Democrats. Every little bit helps in the effort to keep Virginia blue.
We always need help with the operations and the programming for the Hunter Mill Democrats. From knocking on the doors of potential voters to helping with our social media communications, these tasks are very important towards helping make Hunter Mill District remain blue. Hunter Mill Democrats have several committees including:
- Finance Committee
- Communication Committee
- Precinct Operations (Elections Team) Committee
- Events Committee
- Membership Committee
- Diversity and Outreach Committee
Some opportunities to volunteer with Hunter Mill Democrats include:
- Knocking doors in your neighborhood (canvassing)
- Staffing a polling location distributing campaign literature
- Planning a social event to build community among our membership
- Assisting with outreach to our underrepresented communities
- Helping with the lasagna dinner, our annual fundraiser;
- Writing articles for our website and newsletter about local news
- Assisting with recruitment of new members
Fairfax County Democratic Committee (FCDC) has several Standing Committees which have representatives from each Magisterial District Committee (i.e. Hunter Mill Democrats) and these Standing Committees meet regularly.
